Viral star Antwain Fowler, best known for the ‘where we ‘bout to eat at’ video, has died aged six.
The young boy’s mother China confirmed his death on his official Instagram account, which is followed by over 600,000 people.
She wrote: ‘The pain in my heart is like no other, why God!!!’, and captioned her post: ‘Never in a million years My heart is out my chest!!!!’
On the account’s stories, China reposted messages of condolences from friends and followers.
While Fowler’s cause of death was not confirmed, the social media star – also known as TJ – had been battling autoimmune enteropathy since birth.
The autoimmune disease is a condition that inhibits the body’s ability to absorb nutrition, and can lead to poor weight gain and growth issues.
A GoFundMe for Fowler explained that he had been ‘hospitalised a countless number of times’ and had undergone 25 surgeries in the first four years of his life.
This year, Fowler spent four and a half months in hospital and recently underwent treatment to regain his muscle mass after suffering a lung collapse and pneumonia.
Fowler became a star on social media and YouTube over the past two years thanks to clips his mum shared online, particularly a clip of him asking: ‘Where we ‘bout to eat at?’ and sliding down in his car seat which was posted in 2019.
Another clip that went viral saw the child putting his face close to the phone camera and incredulously asking: ‘Is that me?’
A fundraiser for Fowler’s family has received over $60,000 (£44,000) in donations.
