“Grab Your Big A** Trophy”: Miami Heat Star Jimmy Butler Shows Adulation for Alexander Zverev
Before the start of ATP Finals in Turin, there were two clear favorites – Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev. Just a week before, the duo met in the finals of Paris Masters, and naturally, fans expected yet another clash between these two gentlemen at the year-end championships in Turin.
But, current world no.3 Alexander Zverev had different plans of his own. Having lost the round-robin match against the Russian, he went on to defeat both Djokovic and Medvedev to claim his ATP World Tour Finals title.

Despite not winning a Grand Slam so far, the German enjoyed success on the ATP Tour this year, having won a mammoth six titles, including the gold medal at Tokyo Olympics. So far, Zverev proved that he can beat top-tier players in best-of-three sets.
However, Zverev’s record in majors hasn’t been that exceptional as he is yet to defeat a top-10 player despite reaching semis multiple times. The German is certainly hopeful of a Grand Slam title next year.

The victory at the ATP Finals 2021 might just give enough motivation for Zverev to make it big at the Australian Open next year.
