Harris has a few more years of experience than Rakhmonov. However, Rakhmonov is an incredible fighter with an undefeated record. If he manages to win this bout, there is a possibility that he could get a ranked opponent from the welterweight division. It definitely won’t be an easy fight for either of them.

Are Shavkat Rakhmonov and Carlston Harris the right opponents for each other?

Harris has a great record of 17 wins and 4 losses. He has been fighting professionally since 2011. Currently, he is enjoying a 5-fight win streak.

On the other hand, Rakhmonov has won 14 fights and lost none in his entire career. The Kazakhstani fighter has been a professional MMA fighter since 2014. His undisputed record will surely be difficult to break. ‘Nomad’ has the tendency to win in ways that cannot be refuted. He has won all 14 of his fights through either TKOs or submissions. Thus, he leaves no room for arguments about his skills as a great fighter.

His tendency to finish fights through TKOs or submissions might make it difficult for Harris because Harris has won most of his fights through decisions. However, the last five fights he won were through knockouts and submissions. Hence, Rakhmonov might be in danger of getting his undisputed record broken.
