Davis Cup Finals 2021 Prize Money Breakdown: How Much Tennis Players and Federations Will Earn?
After witnessing some quite amazing tennis in the 2021 season so far, it’s time for the final tournament of the year, i.e. the Davis Cup Finals 2021. The tennis event will be kicking off from November 25, 2021 and will extend till December 5, 2021.
Interestingly, a total of 18 nations will be battling out for the trophy this year. Even though fans will miss Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Alexander Zverev, and others, they will be expecting some top quality tennis from World No.1 Novak Djokovic and World No.2 Daniil Medvedev.
What is the total prize money that the Davis Cup Finals are offering this year?
Fans are quite excited about the Davis Cup Finals 2021 since the tournament couldn’t take place last year because of the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, Rafael Nadal’s Spain is still the defending champions and will begin as the top-seeded team this year.

The total prize money pool for the Davis Cup Finals 2021 is £16 million. Surprisingly, this is around £4 million less than than what was there in 2019 as that time, the tournament’s prize money pool was £19,370,255.
The winning players will receive a total of £1.8 million while their team federation will get £910,000. The runners up will get a combined check of £1.3 million while their team federation will be rewarded with £623,000. Both the semi-finalists will be paid £1.12 million, with each team federation receiving £552,000.

The players of the eight teams who will qualify for the quarter-finals will get £940,000 and their team federations will receive £442,000. Intriguingly, nobody will go home empty-handed, as the five players of the teams that will fail to reach beyond the group stage will also receive £442,000 along with £220,000 for their team federations.
Apart from this prize pool money, the Davis Cup Finals 2021 management has also used £12 million for its marketing activities. Thus, this thing brings its total budget to £28 million.

Where is the tournament taking place in 2021?
Interestingly, the Davis Cup Finals 2021 will be taking place in three different cities this year. Even though the surface will remain the same i.e hardcourt indoors, fans can explore three different nations this time.

The tournament will be taking place in Madrid, Spain; Innsbruck, Austria; and Turin, Italy, which recently hosted the ATP Finals 2021.
