It appears the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree as I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Dame Arlene Phillips’ daughter has also revealed her crush on David Ginola.

Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Dame Arlene revealed she was completely smitten by the footballing legend in Monday’s episode, saying that he was ‘so beautiful’ and a ‘great visual’.

Her daughter, Alana Stewart, joined today’s Good Morning Britain where she shared that she is envious of her mother.

After airing a clip of Dame Arlene swooning over David, presenter Adil Ray probed: ‘You’re jealous of mum?’

‘Absolutely!’ Alana exclaimed. ‘I did say I would have to apologise to my husband, but who does not love David Ginola? Oh my goodness.’

Adil’s co-star Susanna Reid quickly pointed out that Dame Arlene is married to Alana’s dad, with the couple having been together since 1985.

During Monday’s episode of I’m A Celeb, Dame Arlene stated of David: ‘I think he’s one of the top 10 crushes.’

In the Telegraph, she later confessed: ‘Whatever he does, it’s so strong. And he’s so beautiful. And he does it all with this very calm, quiet, centred way. It’s a great visual, I’m quite enjoying it!’

But the choreographer wasn’t alone in her feelings towards David, with Emmerdale’s Danny Miller adding: ‘He’s incredible ain’t he?’

Elsewhere in the episode, the Frenchman shared details about suffering a heart attack on the pitch while playing in a charity match in 2016.

David recalled that he had ‘just fallen to the floor’ while playing, and CPR was performed on him for 12 minutes.

He continued: ‘They shocked me one time, two times, three times… they said, “I think your friend is dead.” A fourth, fifth time… the fifth time, a heartbeat.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and I’m A Celebrity continues at 9.15pm on ITV.
