Tyson Fury Willing to Sack Promoters Bob Arum and Frank Warren

Tyson Fury is among the few heavyweight greats who is an undefeated champion. The Briton, over the past three years, has been an absolute stalwart of boxing and has put on some fine in-ring performances. Recently, he battered Deontay Wilder and defended his WBC title for the very first time.

Subsequently, Fury hinted at retirement and also revealed that he had one fight left in his contract with Top Rank Promotions and ESPN. Now, akin to most elite boxers, ‘The Gypsy King’ aired plans of promoting his own fights.

Speaking to iFL TV, he said, “I’m definitely fighting end of February, early March. One million percent. There’s no ifs, buts or maybes about it. Or I will sack my full promotional outfit, and I’ll promote myself. Gypsy King Promotions. There you go.”

Tyson Fury could start self-promoting under ‘Gypsy King Promotions’ banner

Tyson Fury is one of the biggest stars of the modern era. With a win over Wilder, ‘The Gypsy King’ has definitely cemented his place as the best heavyweight. Although Fury has accomplished a lot already, he still has to beat the likes of Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk to silence everyone.

Fans also wish to see Fury go up against both these technicians at some point in time. Citing the hype and anticipation around him, and these fights, ‘The Gypsy King’ might promote himself in the future to pocket most of the earnings.
