Carlos Correa, Jose Altuve, and More- These Stars Were Overlooked for the All-MLB Team 2021

If you are following the off-season controversies, Carlos Correa and Corey Seager have been in the headlines as the top free agents. However, the top shortstops have not been added to the All-MLB team.

Apart from them, many other prominent names are also missing from the list. However, obvious names like Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman made it to the teams.

Top players who were not included in the 2021 All MLB Team

After an intense MLB season, many players emerged as stars, breaking age-old records. ALL MLB teams were announced on Tuesday, and the team is decided 50% from the votes of fans, and 50% through the votes of experts. The teams are then split into two, with each team having a player at every position.

Although the team had the best of the best, some star players were overlooked in the list.

When the Boston Red Sox were competing in the ALCS 2021, one player who took the spotlight was Kiké Hernández. Kiké stunned everyone with not only his smashing but fielding skills as well. Safe to say, he was a one-man army for the Red Sox.

Unexpectedly, he was not part of the two teams. Moreover, the 2021 season’s top shortstops, Corey Seager and Carlos Correa were also neglected in both teams. Houston Astros’ star in World Series, Jose Altuve was also not part of the team. And lastly, 2021 season Platinum Gold awardee, St. Louis Cardinals’ Nolan Arenado also did not make it to the teams.

Shohei Ohtani makes it to both teams!

While some players did not even make it to one team, Shohei Ohtani made it to the first and second teams. Ohtani has proved himself as the best two-way player in MLB history, and it was clear on the list. In the first team, he was chosen as the hitter and in the second team, he was selected as a pitcher.
