I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here contestant Adam Woodyatt revealed he deliberately didn’t Google any of his fellow contestants going onto the show.
EastEnders actor Adam is finally set to make his entrance on I’m A Celebrity alongside Coronation Street favourite, Simon Gregson.
The pair were unveiled as the final two campmates following days of speculation over who would enter the camp as latecomers.
But despite the soap veteran already knowing a fair few of the show’s stars in some capacity, he tried to avoid finding out too much about the people he was about to live with.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk and other press about whether he’d been given any tips before entering the Welsh castle, he said: ‘I spoke with my good mate Shane [Richie, who was a contestant in 2020], he’s given me a few.
‘Vicky Pattinson, she has as well. I’ll be honest, I didn’t actually ask them, I didn’t actually want to know because I just wanted to go in and find out about it for myself.’

He went on to confess he would have quite liked to have not actually been given the names of the fellow famous faces he’d be up against.
‘I would have actually quite liked it if I hadn’t found out about them who the other 11 [campmates] are, do you know what I mean? So I would have actually been going in completely blind not knowing.
‘Obviously, there are some people that I do know and I know their history – but others I don’t,’ he commented.

Adam said of those he didn’t know beforehand: ‘I’ve deliberately not Googled it or taken time to research them, because I’d rather hear it from them, rather them tell me who they are.’
The soap star has been a fixture on our screens for over three decades, having been playing Ian Beale since the soap began in 1985.
But despite being a household name, Adam has never been approached for the show before.

He added: ‘I’ve never been approached, well I’m not aware of being approached in the past.
‘All I know is for this year, last December, ITV asked and I said yes!’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily at 9pm on ITV.
