Piers Morgan gloats over very generous (and NSFW) definition of his name according to Urban Dictionary

Piers Morgan is having the time of his life looking up his own name online.

The former Good Morning Britain host has discovered the wonders of Urban Dictionary, and he’s sharing the good news with the world.

Urban Dictionary is a fanmade, online dictionary with definitions for everything from ‘A bag of cats’ to ‘Z’ed from the feet up’.

While it can sometimes come in handy if you’re feeling a bit ancient because there’s a slang word you’ve never heard before, Urban Dictionary is generally a bit of a nonsense place where the most fun derives from searching definitions for your friends’ names and finding the most insulting one.

Piers has taken to Twitter, sharing a screengrab of UD’s definition of his own name, which described anyone called Piers as ‘immortal, chizzled (sic) and with a big penis’.

Well, then.

The presenter, who will soon join Rupert Murdoch’s TalkTV channel, gleefully wrote in a caption that he ‘thought this Urban Dictionary name thing was another pointless & irritating load of old Twitter twaddle… until I looked up mine’.

Piers’ gloating may have been cut short however, as one detective in the comments section also searched the name Piers on Urban Dictionary, and found the next entry was not nearly as complimentary, and is probably too rude to publish.

The former GMB host’s Twitter antics also made headlines earlier today when he took a swipe at current host Adil Ray, who had appeared to refer to Piers as a ‘baby’ on Wednesday morning’s show.

Adil took the opportunity to make a jibe about Piers during a discussion about MP Stella Creasy, who received an email saying not to bring her baby into the chamber at Parliament.

Turning to his co-host Susanna Reid, he said: ‘You’ve presented with some babies over the years, haven’t you? Stormed out and had a bit of a tantrum?’ prompting her to burst out laughing.

Never one to take a wisecrack lying down, Piers immediately took to Twitter where he said ‘given how Mr Ray has helped destroy GMB’s ratings since I left, if I were him I’d probably avoid mocking the guy who took them to record heights’.

The ‘tantrum’ Adil refers to is, of course, the now-infamous moment Piers stormed off set after weatherman Alex Beresford challenged him on his constant complaints about Meghan Markle.

Piers ended up quitting the show in March of this year after tens of thousands of people complained to Ofcom about his comments about the Duchess of Sussex following her and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

He has always stood by his remarks.
