Bookies are saying she’s the favourite to replace Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning, but Alison Hammond has no plans to take their spot on the sofa anytime soon.
Alison, 46, first appeared on the ITV morning show back in 2003, and a recent shake-up of presenters saw her replace Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, who moved to a school holiday presenting slot.
The former Big Brother housemate now sits alongside Dermot O’Leary on Friday mornings, as Holly and Phillip appear during the week, providing a laugh a minute.
However, should Holly and Phillip ever step aside, there’s speculation about who will fill the shoes of the iconic duo.
Chatting to Zoe Ball on her BBC Radio 2 show today, Alison assured viewers she’s more than happy doing what she’s doing at the moment.
‘Let me just say, you know what, I don’t think Holly and Phillip should go anywhere first of all. And I don’t think I would replace them,’ she said.

‘And I’ll tell you the reason, mainly because I live in Birmingham, it would be too much to go every single day. I think it’s a lot what I do anyway.’
The Strictly Come Dancing star said she ‘wouldn’t want to replace Holly and Phil.’
‘They are irreplaceable, they’re amazing,’ she praised.
Phillip joined the This Morning family back in 2002, and will celebrate 20 years of brightening up our mornings next year.
He first appeared alongside Ferne Britton, who was replaced by Holly in 2009.
The pair quickly became the nation’s favourite TV pairing, and also host ITV’s Dancing On Ice together.

When they’re not hosting This Morning, however, the two still keep themselves busy.
Holly recently started preparing for Christmas as she shared photos of her gorgeous decorations online.
She also has an adorable new puppy, Bailey, who is already a TV star.
The new addition to Holly’s family was adopted by her and husband Dan Baldwin at 15 weeks old.

Clearly content with being watched by millions of people across the country, the pup actually fell asleep on the sofa as Holly gushed about her new four-legged friend.
Meanwhile, everyone was envious of Phillip as he attended the star-studded An Audience with Adele special.

Although, his view of the songstress was somewhat compromised, as he sat behind Boy George’s very large hat, which he later laughed about when a photo did the rounds on Twitter.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
