Black Friday 2021: Very has the best VR deals in the UK with £50 off Oculus Quest 2

VR headsets are never cheap but the Oculus Quest 2 is currently on sale at Very, with £50 off both hardware models.

While there’s little chance of getting a cheap Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 on Black Friday (although there is an outside chance GAME might try something) there are hardware deals available for other formats.

Very already has the best Nintendo Switch deals at the moment but they also have the cheapest offers for the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset, both the 128GB and 256GB versions – which are each £50 off.

As with the Switch offer there is a catch, although in this case only a minor one: you have to enter the code TVGMR when you checkout.

The code will get the 128GB Oculus Quest 2 for £249.99 and the 256GB Oculus Quest 2 for £349.99, which is £50 cheaper than they should be.

Why Very want you to use a code isn’t clear though, especially as you’re first charged the full amount and then get £50 refunded. But for whatever reason that’s the way it works.

This is probably the cheapest the headsets will ever be as the Oculus Quest 2 is riding a wave of popularity at the moment, with the recent VR version of Resident Evil 4 being the most successful ever for the format.

As the name suggests, there’s bound to be an Oculus Quest 3 at some point, but that’s probably at least a year away, given there’s been no hint of it so far.
