Cleveland Browns Injury Report: Star RB Returns for Thanksgiving Fixture

Cleveland Browns fans rejoiced after they heard some good news. The Browns proclaimed it on Thursday morning. Two of their top-tier offensive players will return soon. The running back Kareem Hunt and offensive tackle Jack Conklin. Browns a crushing 45-7 defeat by the Patriots and barely pulled one over the Lions on Sunday.

Maybe the return of two of their top players is exactly what they need to get back to winning ways. They have taken both the players off the injury reserves. They are cleared to return to action next Sunday in the bout against the Baltimore Ravens.

Kareem Hunt and Jack Conklin return for Cleveland Browns

Kareem Hunt played the first six games of the season with the Browns. He has 361 rushing yards with five rushing touchdowns to his name. He also has 20 receptions for 161 yards. Things were looking up for the 26-year-old running back this season before he hurt his calf. During the week 6 loss against the Arizona Cardinals, the unfortunate injury occurred to the running back.

Jack Conklin started six games for the Cleveland Browns as the right tackle this season. He is a two-time first-team All-Pro selection. Conklin injured his elbow a couple of weeks after Hunt’s injury. This time winning against the Cincinnati Bengals, Conklin hurt his elbow.

The #Browns have officially designated RB Kareem Hunt (calf) and OT Jack Conklin (elbow) to return from IR. Their window is open and both could face the #Ravens.

After both of the players were injured, the Browns have really struggled to keep their heads afloat. In the last six games, they have scored over 17 points only once. Hunt has been out since the middle of October and Conklin has been sidelined since the first week of November.

Both the players were unstoppable when they played together. Hunt has 89 touches this season. He also has five touchdowns and an amazing 522 total yards under his belt. Jack Conklin is currently ranked 14th in the NFL’s best offensive tackles out of 80 qualifying players.

Although the duo has been taken off the injury reserves list, their status remains unclear. Whether we will see them play against the Ravens on Sunday is yet to be determined. If you take a player off the list, it gives them a 21-day window to return to training and then the active roster. Reports by Cleveland Browns claim they have activated Hunt before Conklin, and we can expect to see him play on Sunday for sure. However, Conklin’s fate is yet to be determined.
