Hulk Hogan reveals body transformation and weight loss after ‘bad health’ claims

WWE legend Hulk Hogan on Raw

Hulk Hogan has revealed he now weighs as much as he did as a teenager after dropping some pounds.

The 68-year-old WWE Hall of Famer, who flexed his still-huge bicep for the camera, has opened up on his body transformation and noted he’s down to 275lbs – which is the same as when he was in ninth grade, making him 14 or 15.

He wrote on Instagram: ‘Back to my 9th grade weight 275lbs brother HH (sic)’

His confident post was met by a great response from fans and followers on social media as they commented on the snap saying how well Hulk – whose real name is Terry Bollea – is looking.

Adam Scherr – formerly known as Braun Strowman in WWE – replied: ‘Hell yea brother. Looking jizzacked (sic)’

And Hogan’s son Nick added: ‘Helllll yeah!!!! (sic)’

While a follower wrote: ‘Looking good Brother!’

Other fans expressed some concern for Hulk, whose post appeared to be a defiant response after fellow WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair suggested he’s not in good health.

Speaking on the Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, the Nature Boy claimed: ‘He’s having some really bad health issues but he keeps up with me. We support each other, good and bad.

‘When I was in the hospital he flew up that day like everybody else that came up to see me…Hulk was gracious, Jimmy Hart was great.

‘I don’t remember seeing them because I was in a coma but they made the effort to go. Those are the kind of things that mean a lot.’

Although Hogan hasn’t publicly addressed Flair’s comments, his daughter Brooke recently opened up on the retired wrestler’s long injury and surgery list after his lengthy career.

Appearing on the ‘Hollywood Raw’ podcast, she said: ‘We counted how many surgeries he’s had in the last 10 years and I think we’re at 25. He’s had both shoulders scoped and he had his whole bicep and his bursa sac and everything tied up in his shoulder last year.

‘That was a disaster. He got MRSA and it was like a big thing. So we had to go back and undo tons of physical therapy. He’s had both of his knees replaced multiple times, I think twice on both. He’s had his hips done. He’s had his elbow scope.’

However, the 33-year-old star suggested his most recent surgery might be ‘the winning ticket’ for his health.

She added: ‘So yeah, he’s had so many surgeries, so he’s done a ton, but this last one that he just had finally was like the winning ticket. So right now, he’s feeling great. He’s working out two hours in the gym every day. He’s still chugging along.’
