Mercedes Welcome A New F1 ESports Winner to Their Circle

Formula One has evolved over the years, now teams aren’t just focusing on actual racing, but also on the virtual world. Every current team on the grid has an Esports team, which also provides for some intense fights but in the virtual world. The most recent winner is Dani Moreno a driver from Mercedes.

There have been various winners over the years, and now the most recent winner is Moreno. The Esports driver was starting the grid, from fifth place and went on to take the chequered flag in the virtual race.

A new winner for Mercedes in the world of Esports

The Silver Arrows have always cheered for Lewis Hamilton or Valtteri Bottas whenever they won a race. But with times changing in the world of F1, teams also participate in Esports. The Brackley-based squad was over the moon when Moreno took his first win in the championship.

Currently, the Silver Arrows lead the pro championship with 191 points to their name. With three more virtual races to go before the of the season, Mercedes hope to come out on top.

Back-to-back wins for Mercedes’ Knight

Outside, the virtual world, it is Hamilton who has bagged the most recent wins for the Brackley-based squad this season. At the Brazilian Grand Prix, the 7-time world champion displayed an excellent drive as he zipped around Interlagos; beating his arch-rival, Max Verstappen to take home the chequered flag.

At the most recent Grand Prix in Qatar, Hamilton was on pole position and was aiming at another win. The Brit was true to his word and defeated the Red Bull prodigy once again this season; bringing the gap to just eight points in the driver’s championship.
