The digital environment will not stay the same as the concert progresses. Fans will get to witness various important locations and maps that the community can recognize. Steve is also a massive fan of video games and in the aforementioned video, he expressed his love for the character. He went into great detail to speak about how everything began and why he loves Sonic so much and what tracks he likes the most.

“The best Sonic game is definitely the OG Sonic the Hedgehog. That’s the game that started it all for me. That’s the game I was most obsessed with, and I just remember putting it in the Genesis console and just rocking out. My favorite song from Sonic the Hedgehog is definitely Stardust Speedway [from Sonic CD]. That’s why I remixed it: when I hear it, it brings me back to when I was a kid playing the game.”

This marks the second major event that Sega is about to host to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise. Are you excited about Steve’s special set for Sonic? Do share your thoughts about the collaboration between Sega and Steve Aoki in the comments below.
