WWE Legend Wants Roman Reigns: “I Wanna Break the Head of the Table”

Roman Reigns might have a new challenger on SmackDown before he continues his rivalry with Brock Lesnar. Though Lesnar vs Reigns is fantastic, the new challenger would be a huge matchup as well. The Charismatic Enigma, Jeff Hardy, recently talked about his desire to face the WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

Hardy got everyone talking again after his impressive display at the Survivor Series PPV. Reigns, on the other hand, is currently in the middle of a massive push from WWE and will be most likely to pick up the win. However, if Hardy somehow gets the better of the Tribal Chief, it will be a perfect farewell gift for the WWE legend prior to his retirement.

Appearing on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, Hardy revealed he would love to battle against Roman Reigns before his retirement. The former United States Champion said, “The Bloodline, you know, they aggravate me and he always talks about being the head of the table. I wanna break the head of the table.”

Will Jeff Hardy challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship?

Jeff Hardy is yet to win the WWE Universal Championship. It looks like the only missing title from his mind-boggling collection of achievements. Jeff has won the WWE Championship, the United States Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship, the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion, and many more.

Coming to the end of his career, Hardy will try to take a shot at the WWE Universal Championship. But to make it happen, Hardy has to go face-to-face with The Tribal Chief. The two superstars have never gone head-to-head in the squared circle.

Following Hardy’s impressive performance at the Survivor Series 2021 PPV, it looks like the perfect time to provide Jeff with one last push for a world title. Though Brock Lesnar is no longer indefinitely suspended, there is no news yet about Lesnar’s return.

Hence, this looks like the perfect opportunity for Vince McMahon to give The Charismatic Enigma one last major title shot. Do you want to see Jeff Hardy going up against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship in the future?
