How to turn off ‘show notifications’ on Google Chrome

On the desktop version of Chrome, click on the three dots in the top right hand corner.

Then, click Settings and select ‘Privacy and security’.

Next, click ‘Site Settings’ and look for the ‘Permissions’ section.

Here you need to click ‘Notifications’.

You’ll see a section that says ‘Don’t allow sites to send notifications’ under ‘Default behaviour’.

Click the circle next to this section so it turns blue.

Now, you should be able to browse on Google Chrome without the annoying pop ups.
