“Leadership means first, inspiring people. They have to want to follow you. You don’t force people to follow you. So, leadership is mostly about creating this environment in which people are first influenced in a positive way,” said Mouratoglou.

He even mentioned that the people should have confidence in their leader. According to him, the leader also has the responsibility of assuring his people that they all will be benefitted at the end. Patrick mentioned that it must be a symbiotic relationship, where all parties are learning from each other and mutually benefitting.

“They feel that being with you is gonna put them in a good space, help them achieve what they wanna achieve,” added the 51-year-old.

“So, leadership is helping people grow, inspiring them, and caring for them. If people feel that you care, that you inspire them, and you’re going to help them, then they are with you 100%. When they are with you 100%, then you build something together,” concluded the French coach.

Patrick Mouratoglou’s main target right now will be to prepare Serena Williams for the Australian Open 2022. Will he be able to help the tennis queen win her 24th Grand Slam title before she bids goodbye to the sport?
