Hilaria Baldwin didn’t think she’d ‘make it through’ this year as she reflects on ‘some pretty dark struggles’ in Thanksgiving post

Hilaria Baldwin took to Instagram to reflect on the past year for Thanksgiving, admitting that there were times when she didn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Addressing her 938k followers, she shared a video of her daughters, Carmen and Marilu, dancing in the grocery store, admitting she didn’t take a full family photo for the holiday this year.

The entrepreneur said she’s faced ‘some pretty dark struggles’ this year, as she thanked her fans for their support.

The author wrote: ‘I want to tell you all how grateful I am for you. This has been a challenging year. I know for many, many of us… but I will only speak from personal experience right now.

‘Sometimes I didn’t think I was gonna make it through. I want you to know how much you have helped me through some pretty dark struggles.’

She continued: ‘Knowing you were there – such comfort. Yes, my children and my husband, my family and close friends have been invaluable… but YOU, I don’t get to express this face to face, due to the nature of social media and how far we all are… I SO want you to know and take in how grateful I am every day for you.’

The 37-year-old went on to tell her fans she ‘misses their chats’ and ‘the safety net of their community,’ sharing she hopes to one day ‘get back there.’

‘One thing struggle has taught me is to say “I love you” more. It’s what all of this is all about, in my opinion. So, I love you so… with my whole, grateful soul,’ she shared.

Hilaria signed off by wishing her fans a ‘Happy gratitude day.’

Hilaria’s post comes after her family recently became the subject of headlines worldwide as husband Alec was involved in a tragic accident on set that led to the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

The investigation into the tragedy that occured on the set of Rust is still ongoing.

However, actor Alec has hired a Los Angeles attorney, Aaron S. Dyer, for civil suits related to the shooting, Variety reports. has confirmed.

Both Alec and Hilaria – who share six children – recently stopped to answer reporters’ questions while on a family outing, as the 30 Rock star said: ‘I am not allowed to not make any comments because it’s an ongoing investigation.

‘I have been ordered by the Sheriff’s department in Santa Fe, I can not answer any questions about the investigation. I can’t. It’s an active investigation in terms of a woman dying. She was my friend.’

When asked whether production of the film would resume, he said he ‘doubts it.’
