Paige Spiranac reveals one rule she wishes to change in Golf

Golf as a game is easier to understand. However, the rules of this game can be slightly perplexing and difficult to understand. Hence, in every tournament, you can find at least one rules official present on the course to guide if a player has confusion. Moreover, there are a couple of rules which don’t seem to be fair towards a player.

Spiranac had made a tweet saying, “You should get a free drop if your ball lands in a fairway divot.” Meanwhile, if a ball lands in the divot, especially on fairways, then the player will have a terrible lie. And playing from the divot can be a strenuous job. Hence, Paige wants the USGA and R&A to allow a free drop whenever the ball lands in a fairway divot.

Meanwhile, it is unethical to leave a divot uncovered, especially in the fairways. But there are a few players who don’t fix their divots. So, players teeing off after them will face difficulties if their ball lands inside the divot. And, as of now, there is no relief for players if the ball lands in the fairway divot. Hence, Paige Spiranac wants to change this one rule in golf.

So what do you guys think? Which one rule do you wish to change in golf? Do let us know.
