VIDEO: When Joe Couldn’t Take His Eyes Off Miesha Tate at the Weigh-Ins
Miesha Tate, the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion and famous commentator Joe Rogan, shared a hilarious moment on the internet after UFC 200 weigh-ins.
During major UFC events, Rogan is present on the stage to announce the fighters coming on the stage for weigh-ins and face-offs. However, when they prepare for the weigh-ins, it is hard for Rogan to keep his eyes off the athletes.
Fans have caught the famous podcast host staring directly at the athletes several times while they prepare for the ceremonial weigh-ins. One such incident happened during UFC 200, which gave a hilarious meme to the internet.
‘Cupcake’ was scheduled to defend her bantamweight gold against Amanda Nunes in 2016 at UFC 200. As usual before the fight, the combatants attended the ceremonial weigh-ins.

While Tate climbed on the scale for her weight check, the camera caught Rogan struggling to keep his eyes off her. Later many fans on the internet and the former champ herself acknowledged the same. After the event, Rogan and Tate also had a moment on Twitter, where she took a dig at him.
Unfortunately, Tate lost the bout against Nunes. And later, after losing her second fight in a row, ‘Cupcake’ took a hiatus from UFC octagon. Interestingly, the former champion made her comeback in 2021.
Miesha Tate: Back in Action
‘Cupcake’ is inarguably one of the best women’s fighters in the UFC. The former bantamweight champion has an amazing professional fighting career of 19-8 under her name. However, after a two-fight skid in 2016, Tate was away from fighting.
However, ‘Cupcake’ made her comeback in 2021 with a stunning knockout win over Marion Reneau. She also won the ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus at the event.

With this win, Tate secured her position at #8 in the women’s bantamweight division. In her next fight, ‘cupcake’ took on the #7 Ketlen Vieira inside the cage. The former was hoping for a title shot next with a win over Vieira.
Unfortunately, Tate faced a different fate in the fight and lost to the Brazilian via a unanimous decision. The latter ranked up to #6 on the roster with this win.
Meanwhile, for Tate, she will now have to map her way back to earn a title shot next. Nevertheless, UFC fans surely enjoy seeing her back in action.
