Brock Lesnar suspension lifted and WWE return confirmed after $1,000,000 fine for ‘violent rampage’

Brock Lesnar is set to return to WWE next week after his indefinite suspension was lifted on SmackDown.
The Beast Incarnate has been off-screen for several weeks after official Adam Pearce took serious action – in storyline terms – following a violent rampage targeting other wrestlers, ring crew and Pearce himself.
However, after some digging, Kayla Braxton confirmed at the end of Friday’s show that Lesnar will be back next week.
Not surprisingly, Universal Champion Roman Reigns and his special counsel Paul Heyman didn’t look best please by this development.
It seems plans for the comeback are being put into place sooner rather than later, as Lesnar’s return was originally advertised for WWE’s Los Angeles show on December 10.
The blue brand is set to roll into the Staples Center before Christmas, and the venue’s official Twitter account teased: ‘The suspended Brock Lesnar vows to buy a ringside seat in Los Angeles for @WWE Friday Night Smackdown on December 10!’
Lesnar was last seen on screen on October 22 when he took out The Bloodline, fellow superstars and WWE staff, which landed him an indefinite suspension.
He then laid out Pearce with an F-5, which led to him getting a hefty fine for good measure.
Earlier this month, the official took to Twitter and listed Lesnar’s in-character transgressions, including disregarding ‘direct instruction to cease his actions on multiple occasions from multiple official sources’.
He noted that Brock attacked a member of the camera crew, a referee, ‘multiple fellow Superstars’ and ‘a member of my official staff’, all ‘resulting in injury’.
He added that the Beast Incarnate also assaulted Pearce himself, ‘resulting in injury and [destroying] personal property’, referring to his pants splitting as he was hit with an F-5.
The WWE official also said he ‘destroyed private property during AN ATTEMPT TO USE IT AS AN ASSAULT WEAPON’.
Reflecting on his punishment, Pearce added: ‘He’s lucky the authorities weren’t brought into this. He’s lucky a suspension is all he suffered professionally. He’s lucky he can personally afford the fine.’
Keeping in character himself, Pearce gave an update on those Lesnar attacked in the segment, and thanked everyone for their ‘thoughts and prayers’.
He wrote: ‘Everyone damaged in this horrible scene is on the mend. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers, and for the multiple offers to buy me new pants. Have a great day!’

This has been a smart way for the company to write the former world champion off TV again for a little while and keep things simmering, as he is booked very much as a special attraction, who comes and goes throughout the year.
As shown by his most recent run after his surprise return at SummerSlam, it’s the best way to present Lesnar as he always feels like a standout star, with fans sure something huge massive is happening when his music hits.
It’s also a good way to let Reigns move onto other things – including his issues with Paul Heyman and where his allegiances lie – with Survivor Series and a match with Big E on the horizon, as well as a new challenger.
