Holly Willoughby’s book, Reflections, has been a Sunday Times best seller for three consecutive weeks, and she’s been dishing out ‘thank yous’ to those who helped her get there.

The This Morning host, 40, who is open about her dyslexia, has admitted she never thought it would be ‘possible’ for her to write a book.

Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty that causes issues with reading, writing and spelling.

Holly shared that she recently wrote to her English teacher from school to celebrate her achievement and thank her for her support.

Talking to her 7.4 million Instagram followers, Holly gushed over her book’s success.

‘It’s been out for three weeks now and I can’t quite believe it because for the third week running it is a Sunday Times Bestseller, which is really something I never thought was possible,’ she began.

‘Funnily enough I sent my old English teacher a letter yesterday just saying, “Oh my god, I wrote a book and who would have thought that was ever actually gonna be possible when I was at school?”‘

Holly continued: ‘I think you all know by now but I’m dyslexic so when I was at school, English was not my favourite subject at all and I found it really difficult.

‘So to now be sitting here as a Sunday Times Bestseller is pretty incredible and overwhelming actually so thank you.’

Holly’s message to her former teacher comes just after Adele shared an emotional reunion with her own English teacher during her An Audience With… performance.

The Celebrity Juice panelist said the comments she’s received from readers ‘have been amazing’ before signing off, but not without showing off new pup Bailey, with whom she’s enjoying a chilled Sunday, cosy indoors and away from the rain.

Holly has spoken previously about her ‘incredible’ high school English teacher, Mrs Williamson, who offered a helping hand when she struggled.

Talking with co host Phillip Schofield, she said her dyslexia was only diagnosed ‘just before’ she sat her GCSE exams.

The TV star said she was ‘constantly embarrassed’ about her reading, but her ‘favourite teacher’ would always take her to one side and help her with essays.

‘She never made me feel stupid, so I loved her,’ Holly said.

Reflections is Holly’s ‘book of life lessons’ in which she ‘shares her truths in the hope that maybe they’ll help you too.’

The book has received rave reviews, with readers branding it ‘from the heart,’ ‘authentic,’ ‘inclusive’ and ‘beautiful.’
