Simon Cowell broke his back in a biking accident last year, but he wouldn’t change a thing about it.
The music mogul, 62, came off his e-bike in Malibu last August, and had to undergo surgery.
Despite previously revealing that he was a mere ‘millimetre’ away from being paralysed, the former X Factor just admits he wouldn’t erase anything about the almost-fatal incident.
In fact, the ordeal has only encouraged the businessman to exercise more, and he now goes out cycling ‘ten miles a day.’
Speaking to ex Terri Seymour on ExtraTV, Simon said: ‘My most creative time is now when I cycle, because I cycle even though it’s an e-bike. I still got to pedal and I do about ten miles a day, even though I had an accident on one.
‘That was more an electric motorbike, these are called pedal-assist bikes and they’re brilliant.’

He also didn’t lack confidence when it came to riding a bike for the first time again, and he supposedly feels ‘better’ than ever.
‘That expression “get back on your bike,” with me, it was literal. I feel better than I did because I exercise so much more,’ Simon confessed.
‘Honestly, if I could rewind, I would have gone through the whole thing again. Just because I feel better now. Yeah, even though it hurt like hell at the time.’
The Britain’s Got Talent judge also took time to praise his partner Lauren Silverman, with whom he shares a son, seven-year-old Eric.

‘She’s like my lioness. I mean, she was amazing,’ he gushed over her support during his recovery process.
Elsewhere in their interview, Simon said he has been busy writing his ‘Wishfits’ books with mini-me Eric.
TV star said: ‘I used to pretend to Eric there were animals that were half-dog half-cat and one was called a ‘cog’ and one was called a ‘dat.’
‘I said, “What would your favourite animal be if you had to put two together?” and the first thing he said was a ‘snog’, which is a snail and a dog, and then we came up with all these other ones like a ‘chimpanpoo’ and ‘polar bat,’ and we got a book deal and so we’re writing the books together.’
Also keeping Simon booked and busy is his new singing talent show, Walk The Line, which will air on ITV later this year.

With Gary Barlow, Dawn French, Craig David, Alesha Dixon and Mabel on the judging panel and Simon working behind the scenes as an executive producer, the show will see aspiring musicians battle it out for a £500,000 prize.
Simon was originally going to sit at the judges’ table, but hired Gary as his replacement so he could spend more time with his family.
