Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer enlists daughter’s help for gender reveal and it’s adorable

Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer shared the sweetest gender reveal by getting her daughter Avarie-Belle to help her out with a video.

The actress is expecting a second child with partner Simon Brough and shared an adorable video of her five-year-old daughter announcing the very special news.

‘Guess what guys?’ Avarie-Belle began. ‘I’m having a baby brother!’

Fans are thrilled for the pair, with Dani later adding: ‘Thank you so much for all your lovely messages!! We’re over the moon ☺️xxx’.

Dani revealed she’s pregnant with her second child in August, also including Avarie-Belle in the announcement.

The 32-year-old wrote: ‘Han solo had Chewie. Frodo had Sam. Shrek had Donkey.

‘Now be prepared for the adventures of Avarie-Belle and as of yet unnamed bump, coming February 2022.’

Friends and followers congratulated Dani on her news, with Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, Skins actress April Pearson and model Jess Impiazzi among the well wishers.

Dani and Simon have been together since 2015, and welcomed their first child together a year later.

The actress rose to fame playing Tracy Beaker in the CBBC adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s novel.

She returned to the role this year to star in My Mum Tracy Beaker, a new special that followed Tracy as an adult and her daughter Jess.

And for fans who might be worried about how long she’ll continue, don’t worry – she’s vowed to never step down from playing Tracy.

‘I’d rather return to play her than someone else, that would be so weird,’ Dani told Metro.co.uk. ‘I don’t know how I’d feel if someone else did it. I feel like I own it now, and no one can take that away from me.’
