Strictly Come Dancing 2021 has been another stellar year for the hit competition series, with stand-out moments including Rose Ayling-Ellis’ poignant dance to celebrate the deaf community.
Fans of the show might have felt like the series has only just started, but we’re on a (fox)trot right to the finish line, with the finale looming close.
As it stands, early favourites like John Whaite and Johannes Radebe are still in the competition, as are hot favourites Rose Ayling-Ellis and partner Giovanni Pernice, and AJ Odudu and her partner Kai Widdrington.
When is the Strictly finale and who’s favourite to win?
When is the Strictly final?
There’s just a few short weeks left of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing – the final will air on Saturday, December 18.
While we still have a few eliminations to go before knowing which couples will make it to the final, the odds at the bookies are starting to make it look like Rose and Giovanni have it in the bag.

What are the latest Strictly odds?
Rose and Giovanni are odds-on for a second perfect score on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, according to Ladbrokes.
The bookies make Rose clear favourite in the betting for the Glitterball Trophy at odds of 1/5, and 1/2 says her and Giovanni get a perfect score this weekend.
Elsewhere, at the other end of the scale, it’s Dan Walker who’ll head into Saturday night’s episode as the odds-on favourite to be eliminated at odds of 5/6.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: ‘Punters have been backing Rose in their swarms since pretty much day one, and with her odds of winning the Glitterball Trophy at record lows, it looks like she’s on course for another perfect score this weekend.’
He added: “The immediate future isn’t as bright for Dan Walker, however, with the latest odds suggesting he’ll finally be sent home. That being said, this is a position in the betting the BBC Breakfast star knows all too well, so don’t be too surprised if he upsets the odds once again.’
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.55pm on BBC One.
