‘Federer v Nadal’: Reilly Opelka on his worst match ever seen

To begin with, We Are Tennis’s official Twitter account put out some fascinating tennis questions. And unlike most, Reilly Opelka wrote ‘Federer v Nadal’ as the worst match he watched.

Besides that, the 24-year-old picked Ivo Karlovic as the one who made him love tennis. Unsurprisingly, Opelka named John Isner as his current favorite player and the one who made him dream the most. Also, he selected Karlovic against Isner as the best tennis match he ever saw.

Interestingly, Opelka, Isner, and others also consider themselves as servebots. Both of them have lauded the 42-year-old Karlovic, who is still actively playing, on multiple occasions.

But coming back to Federer and Nadal, the American professional might get questions on his answer in the future. Only then, tennis fans will understand his interpretation.

So far, the two greatest rivals have met each other on the court on 30 different occasions, in which Nadal leads Federer 24 to 16. However, they haven’t played a professional match since the Wimbledon semifinal in 2019.

Given Federer’s recent update, the legendary pair might not see each other until the half of 2022. Hopefully, they will treat their fans once again before one of them hangs their racquet.

Summing up, tennis fans still hope to see Federer and Nadal on the same court soon. But until then, they will look forward to watching Nadal alone.
