George Clooney suffered an almost fatal motorcycle accident in Italy back in 2018.
In an interview with The Sunday Times, the actor shared details on the crash and how he thought it was the ‘last minute of his life.’
Back in 2018, the Hollywood legend was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Sardinia, where he was filming Catch 22.
The 60-year-old was launched from his bike, over the handlebars and into the windscreen of a white Mercedes, which had turned in front of him.
The driver called the emergency services and police, an ambulance and fire department arrived at the scene, where George lay groggy and screaming.
But, he realised a crowd was gathering while the actor was on the ground.

George has called out the bystanders for filming the incident on their phones instead of helping him as he felt on the brink of death.
‘I was waiting for my switch to turn off. I’m fine now,’ he said.
‘If you’re in the public eye, what you realise when you’re on the ground thinking it’s the last minute of your life is that, for some people, it’s just going to be entertainment for their Facebook page.’
‘You want to take every one and shake them.’
Shortly after the crash, the Ocean’s Eleven actor said wife-of-seven-years Amal banned him from riding motorcycles again.
After hitting the driver of the car at ’75 miles per hour,’ he shared that he and fellow executive producer Grant Heslov are ‘off bikes.’

‘Grant’s off. We screwed up and our wives were like, “You can never get on a bike again,”‘ he told People.
Elsewhere, the icon has reflected on turning 60 earlier this year, and he was pretty blunt about his feelings towards the milestone.
‘Turning 60 is a bummer. But it’s that or dead,’ he said.
However, there’s no stopping George – who’s had a career of 43 years – as he’s already planning his 80th.
He described the next 20 years of his life as ‘halcyon,’ and he wants to celebrate that.

‘We should focus on the work we do being just the stuff we have to, that we feel in our chest.’
George’s most recent project is coming-of-age drama movie The Tender Bar, which he directed.
It hits cinemas on December 17.
