Newly single Rylan Clark dances like nobody’s watching on night out after opening up about divorce

RYLAN Clark clearly isn’t letting his split from husband Dan Neal stop him from having fun.

The 33-year-old was in high spirits on Saturday night as he watched Sophie Ellis-Bextor support pop band Steps in concert.

In clips posted to his Instagram, presenter Rylan – who is currently involved in a divorce battle with husband Dan Neal over his £4m fortune – danced like nobody was watching as Sophie performed her hit Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love).

It Takes Two host Rylan was with his mum Linda for the night out and, after she finished her set, Sophie, 42, joined the fun.

Rylan recently joked that he needed to spend his money before his divorce from Dan, after their six-year marriage ended in June.

During an awards bash in London, Rylan told the audience that he had funded the free bar before adding: “I’ve paid for the drinks myself. So knock yourself out. I thought I’d spend it before…”

Rylan has also revealed that a “fresh start” is at the top of his Christmas list this year, saying: “I really need one. And also I need a holiday – a week’s all-inclusive in the sun, with someone bringing me food and drink and not moving.”

He added to Heat: “I definitely need a break, rather than a breakdown!”

And, in a nod to his split from Dan, Rylan insisted he’s got big plans for the festive season.

He said: “I’m going all out! After the year I’ve had – which everyone knows has been pretty hard for me – I just want to have some fun and get a bit of joy in my house.”

After announcing the break-up in June, Rylan took a step back from work which included his BBC Radio 2 show.

At the time, he said: “We are currently prioritising our mental health. I am working towards getting back to the jobs I love.”
