UFC 269: Fight Card Details

The past two months have been an absolute treat for all fight fans as the UFC has put up some insane fights. Not even one of the fight nights has failed to disappoint and neither have the numbered cards.

Last month at UFC 268, we got to witness arguably one of the best lightweight fights in the promotion’s history. Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler put on one hell of a fight. Another amazing bout fans got to see was Max Holloway versus Yair Rodriguez earlier this month. Both these fights are speculated to be contenders for the Fight of the Year award.

The UFC still has something exciting planned for us to end the year on a good note. Fans can expect to see some insane skills and violence at the upcoming UFC 269.

UFC 269 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 11th, 2021. Dustin Poirier and Charles Oliveira will compete for the UFC lightweight championship in the main event. Both fighters are currently on a winning streak. While Poirier has won his last three, ‘Do Bronx‘ has won his last nine.

Another exciting bout that will take place at UFC 269 is Amanda Nunes versus Julianna Peña. The fight will be for the UFC Women’s bantamweight championship. The fight was supposed to take place at UFC 265, but it was canceled after ‘The Lioness‘ tested positive for COVID-19.

Other fights at UFC 269

Apart from Poirier versus Oliveria and Nunes versus Peña, the UFC 269 main card has three exciting bouts on it. The twelfth-ranked welterweight fighter, Geoff Neal, will take on #14 ranked Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Flyweight fighter Kai Kara-France will take on the former UFC bantamweight champion, Cody Garbrandt, in a flyweight battle.
