VIDEO: Chaos Erupts at Triller’s Triad Combat as Fighter Falls Out of the Ring
Triller’s new Triad Combat event is off to an eventful start. Fans and experts alike were eager to see how the new ring and rules for the fights would workout. Triller is the one that came up with the idea of Triad Combat, and for their first-ever card, they decided to make it a Boxing vs MMA affair. Their new ring and rules ensure that both MMA fighters and boxers get to fight on a level playing field.
During the opening bout, Harry Gigliotti took on Jacob Thrall for a scheduled five-round featherweight bout. In just the second round of the fight, the bout took a bit of a comedic turn when Jacob Thrall fell out of the ring and almost had a nasty fall to the floor. The ring is at an elevated height, so when Thrall fell out of the ring, he almost fell to the floor in an awkward position.

However, the stewards and commentators ringside, along with the referee held on to Thrall as he lay on his back on the side of the ring. Thrall immediately got back into the ring as his opponent apologized. The fight went on, just after the incident. Thrall lost the fight via split decision.
