Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most prominent golfers on the PGA Tour. He has eight PGA Tour wins and a major championship victory in his career so far. Moreover, he trying to change the game as he wants to gain an advantage by increasing his distance off the tee. He has bulked himself and tries to get some insane clubhead speeds. 

Meanwhile, he recently became the first-ever PGA Tour player to compete in the World Long Drivers Championship. Bryson finished the event in the top-8 and displayed some incredible skills. Bryson DeChambeau reveals an interesting golf story 

DeChambeau was a famous golfer since his early days. He was a sensation as a young budding golfer, and he didn’t shy away from telling his friends how well he plays. And recently, he shared a story of his as a 14 or 15-year-old. Moreover, he had a friend named Blake Berry, against whom he used to play nine holes on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Berry was an excellent golfer, as he had a handicap of 2. And one day, they set up a match of nine holes, with Berry getting a shot on each hole. This sounds crazy, as Bryson’s friend had a handicap of 2, which means he was almost a scratch golfer. But the young Bryson challenged him with firm determination. 

“So I birdie the first three holes, said Bryson. He pars each of them, and we’re even. I eagle No. 4 and par 5, then birdied 6, 7, 8, and 9 to shoot a 27. I had a 4-iron into the last hole and hit it to a foot. I played the best I possibly could.”

“He shoots 37, bogeys the last hole, and I beat him by one. He had to give me a Reese’s afterward. That was the bet.” Moreover, he said, “That’s when I knew I could do it. That’s when I knew I could play out here, that I had the you-know-what that it takes to play out here.”

Currently, Bryson is one of the top players on the Tour, and he will be making a comeback to competitive golf at the Hero World Challenge 2021 in the Bahamas.
