Mum-of-22 Sue Radford forced to defend her spending after flaunting ‘disgusting’ wealth at her ‘millionaire mansion’

MUM-of-22 Sue Radford has been forced to defend her ‘extravagant’ spending after trolls accused her of flaunting a ‘disgusting display of wealth.’

The mum of Britain’s biggest family took to Instagram on Sunday night where she hit back at the cruel comments she’d received off the back of a recent Instagram story.

In the video, Sue, 46, from Morecambe, Lancs, showed off the fancy £750 Emma mattress that she had added to her kids’ bedrooms.

But the price of the item had clearly left a bad taste in some viewer’s mouths.

Commenting, one wrote: “Disgusting waste of money, you should remember where you came from and start giving back instead of flaunting your ‘wealth.’

“Are people so blind not to see that you’ve taken advantage of freebies, cause no amount of pies would be enough to cover the expensive items you’ve been bragging about.

“Seriously so many people are homeless and starving.”

Incensed, Sue shared a screenshot of the comment on her Instagram stories where she responded to the cruel comments.

She wrote: “Oh I do, we’ve worked extremely hard to get to where we are now.

“I think people forget that we don’t just have our bakery, we also work very hard on our media company and filming for our new program just like lots of other ‘influencers.’

“I hate that word but most YouTubers don’t also run a very successful business.”

It comes after Sue showed off the fancy £750-a-piece mattresses she bought for her daughters’ room, and people were shocked.

Showing off the flashy purchase, Sue wrote on Instagram: “We just upgraded the mattresses in the girls’ bedroom to @emmasleepuk mattresses and they are so so comfy!”

Many fans were quick to check out the mattresses online, and one said in disbelief: “I just had a look.. £749 gonna cost you a fortune Sue.”

Another added: “Oh if only I could afford one lol.”

Meanwhile one person offered up some cheaper alternatives, and commented: “Grab a bargain Lidi are selling at the moment £199 for a single & £329 for a king.”

Sue and Noel, 50, from Lancashire, are parents to Chris, 32, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 26, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 12, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, one.

Sadly the couple’s 17th child Alfie was still born on July 6, 2014.

The family famously doesn’t rely on benefits and is supported by their pie shop business. 

The Radfords, who live in a 10-bed former care home, often show off their millionaire lifestyle on Instagram.

This includes having an outdoor cinema, TV bed, and a £30,000 Range Rover car.

The family have recently opened their doors for Channel 5’s 22 Kids and Counting show, which documented their lives under one roof. 

In the show, Sue revealed they have spent £1million raising their large brood and she has been pregnant for 16-and-a-half YEARS.
