Elina Svitolina Aims to Follow Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Others’ Footsteps
Elina Svitolina, currently ranked no. 15, is one of the biggest stars in women’s tennis today. Naturally, she is also held in high regard in her home country, Ukraine. That is why she received the honor of her star on the Square of Stars in Kyiv recently.
Now, she has organized a successful charity gala dinner of Elina Svitolina Foundation in Ukraine.
Notably, Svitolina’s foundation focuses on the development of sports and aiding young tennis players. For this, she set up a charity gala dinner and invited friends and special guests.
Indeed, she is following the footsteps of Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Naomi Osaka, and many others who also have their sports academies. She is a true inspiration for the people of her country.

Svitolina has been the leading example for young Ukrainian tennis players for many years. Over time, she has received enormous support from her country.
Accordingly, the 27-year-old built a foundation after her name to give back to the community. She desires to provide young aspiring athletes with every opportunity to find success as she did.

However, a lot of credit goes to her friends, special guests, and partners who support Svitolina’s cause. As a result, she shared a few pictures of the charity gala dinner with a message expressing her gratitude to them.
“I am extremely happy,” Svitolina wrote, “that my friends, special guests, and partners care about the development of sports and the future of young tennis players! I am incredibly grateful to everyone who came together for our common purpose!”
From here, the newly-wed Svitolina will look forward to spending the holidays with her husband, Gael Monfils. Without any doubt, they make up for one of the most delightful and fun-loving couples in tennis.

Svitolina still awaiting her maiden Grand Slam title
Inarguably, the former World No.3 has one of the most consistent players on the WTA Tour. When it comes to the major tournaments, Svitolina hasn’t been able to go all the way.

Considering her talent and gameplay, it is only a matter of time. However, the question still remains: will Svitolina put in everything to make 2022 her year?
Hopefully, the Ukrainian star will return to the tour with renewed energy and drive to win. Let’s see if Svitolina can lift her maiden Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in January 2022.
