Meanwhile, another group of fans reckoned Verstappen will be under pressure because of Hamilton’s experience and his capability to fight back from any scenario.

Well, amidst such inputs pouring in from the fandom, Dr. Riccardo Ceccarelli, founder of Formula 1 medicine, gave his own opinion during the F1 Nation podcast. The Italian felt that Hamilton will be under the highest amount of pressure, not because of Verstappen, but because of what it means to win this particular title.

“Well, I would say, first of all, they are two different persons. So, we have to respect also how they are… Lewis has an advantage that has won already 7 world championships and that’ll obviously make him more used to this kind of pressure,” he said.

“But, at the same time, not many times he faced so tough competition, especially in the last years. So, for him, it can be a pressure… I would say, Djokovic. Have you seen the Tennis Djokovic? He could win the match of the life to win the slam and to be the first one to arrive to 21 slams and he failed of that excessive pressure.

“So, for me, Lewis is a bit in the condition of Djokovic. A lot of pressure because that can be the last race of his life. 8-time world championship is a record that no one would beat probably for ages,” he concluded.

Overall, Riccardo’s perspective seems fair enough, and Hamilton, who even though is putting up a brave face in public, is likely to be under immense pressure from the team, the fans, and himself too. So, can the Briton maintain his composure and lift the record-breaking trophy?
