Cheating is a rampant problem that has riddled games like Apex Legends, Call of Duty Warzone, and other shooters. Unfortunately, with Halo Infinite’s present state, first-person shooter fans just can’t seem to catch a break. In fact, cheaters are so confident that they are blatantly using exploits on stream.

Halo Infinite cheater caught red-handed

Tommy ‘Lucid’ Wilson of OpTic Gaming Halo was the whistleblower of a shameless hack when he recently encountered a team of cheaters. The player claimed that he was pitted against a team that was cheating in the previous match. As luck would have it, one of the contenders was live on his own stream.

Things took a hilarious turn when the streamer’s cheats were visible in open sight for all viewers to see.

ethanoii, the alleged cheater was seen using wallhacks and aimbots. The whole stream could quite visibly see the manner in which the cheater was engaging in disgraceful behavior. He was seen picking off players in a very easy manner, predicting when enemies would turn corners and the hitboxes of the enemies for visible for the whole stream to see in shock and awe.

You cannot make this up. @Lucid_TW calls out a team of cheaters from a previous match, gets matched up against that team AGAIN. One of them is streaming. Cheater gets flooded with viewers calling him out. Denies it all. Forgets to turn off hacks and proceeds to play. GG pic.twitter.com/oKxP4z08bo

The account of the exploiter has been banned from Twitch. It is quite astounding how confident players are while cheating. The cheater in this question did not even make an attempt to hide it. That is an open invitation to get caught and banned. However, the best course of action is to not cheat altogether and not ruin the game for others.

The cheating problem in the game has turned so bad, that console players are calling upon 343 Industries to disable cross-platform play to avoid cheaters.
