Little Mix stars Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall were the proudest best friends at the premiere of Boxing Day as they supported Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

The Break Up Song hitmakers stunned on the red carpet as they celebrated Leigh-Anne’s starring role in the Christmas film alongside Aml Ameen and Aja Naomi King.

The trio posed together, with Leigh-Anne, 30, rocking a gorgeous floor-length gown, Perrie, 28, in a nude number, and Jade, 28, sporting a corset top and PVC trousers.

The singers made sure to take photos with fans, with Leigh-Anne pulling her girls in for a hug in one adorable photo.

Elsewhere, Leigh-Anne posed with her fiance, Andre Gray, and shared a laugh with co-star and writer Aml.

The rom-com has been directed by Kidulthood and I May Destroy You actor Aml and will see Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne make her film debut, while also starring How To Get Away With Murder’s Aja.

It follows Melvin (Ameen) as he returns home to London with his new fiancee Lisa (King) to introduce her to the family. However, Lisa’s magical trip to London hits a sour note when they bump into Melvin’s ex-girlfriend Georgia (Pinnock), who happens to be a global superstar singer.

Boxing Day will prove to be groundbreaking as the first Black British Christmas rom-com.

Speaking about the project, Ameen told Digital Spy: ‘If the world stopped tomorrow and we only had Black British cinema to tell us what Black Brits were like, would it be one particular lens of a particular culture?

‘London is one of the most diverse places on the planet, and showing that was really important to me.

‘I love Love Actually, I love Notting Hill, I love My Best Friend’s Wedding, Crazy Rich Asians and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I wanted to add to those stories, and give my personal adage to a genre I love so much too.’

Boxing Day is out in UK cinemas on December 3.
