Will Joe Rogan be at UFC Fight Night: Rob Font Vs Jose Aldo?

The UFC has produced some superstars who have transcended beyond the sport of mixed martial arts. These individuals have helped build the organization and some of them have done so without ever participating in the sport. Among those names include Bruce Buffer, Joe Rogan, Dana White, and many more.

While Buffer became the ultimate voice inside the octagon, Joe Rogan became the biggest advocate for MMA. The former still continues to appear at as many events as possible. However, the same cannot be said about Joe Rogan.

The veteran commentator, over the past few months, has only appeared at numbered PPVs on American soil. He has been absent from Fight Island PPVs and Fight Nights. Despite that, MMA fans cannot attribute his decision to diminishing love for the sport.

Rogan loves the sport and is an ardent fan of combat sports including, boxing, BJJ, wrestling, kickboxing, and more. However, he has a variety of other interests that take up his time.

Outside of UFC, he enjoys a flourishing career as the host of the biggest podcast in the world, The Joe Rogan Experience, and a career as a long-time comedian. Hence, as has been the norm, Rogan will not appear at the UFC APEX for UFC Fight Night: Rob Font vs Jose Aldo.

Joe Rogan works for a reduced number of UFC events- here’s why

The 54-year-old celebrity has long paid his dues to help grow the sport from the ground up. The renowned commentator has offered his voice to the broadcast teams and has worked multiple events for free in the initial years. His loyalty and efforts in establishing the UFC have earned him special privileges- these help him focus on his other ventures.

As Fight Nights would require frequent travel and as overseas PPVs would require Rogan to take lengthy journeys, he only takes his place at the desk for U.S. PPVs.
