On Tuesday, she gave her followers a scary health update after sharing the photos where she appeared to be in a hospital room with a trach in her throat.

The post included no caption, but a couple of snaps of the reality star gazing at the camera with a soft lighting reflecting in the background.

Tammy pulled her hair back into a bun for the shots and wore a full face of make-up.

Fans immediately rushed to the comments section to give their support for the TV star urging her to “stay strong,” although Tammy has yet to disclose the reason for the tube.

According to John Hopkins Medicine, a tracheostomy, also referred to as “trach” for short, can be used to assist with breathing difficulties and to “safely deliver oxygen to the lungs.”

One supporter wrote in the comments: “Looking much better Tammy stay strong u git this. God has given you another chance run with it!”

While another person echoed the sentiment writing: “Wishing you much health and happiness. And hope rehab is going well, you are strong and can live the life you deserve.”

‘BIG DECISION’

On a recent episode of the series, Tammy revealed that she wanted to leave the food addiction rehab early against her doctor’s orders.

In the scene, the 35-year-old sat down with Kelly, an administrator from the rehab facility, because she made a “big decision.”

Tammy explained: “I miss my bed. I miss my family. I think I’m ready to go. I want to try and get the rest of the weight off on my own.”

However, Kelly expressed concern, asking Tammy if she’s “ready to go home on her own without support and face all the temptations by yourself.”

“Yes,” Tammy responded, but added in her confessional: “I know I’m supposed to lose pounds, but 60 is great a start… I’ve been here long enough, I’ve seen what to do. I just gotta do it.”

Tammy told Kelly: “… if I do order out it’d be like one burger and nothing else… if I just get one burger a day…”

Kelly responded: “See that’s the part that I worry about… “

“I worry about Tammy,” Kelly said during her confessional.

BACKLASH

However, fans also reacted with their own opinions as they took to the comments section to respond.

One person said: “Girl, you really should have stayed. Especially if it was working out so well for you.”

Another harshly added: “If Tammy wants to eat herself into an early grave, LET HER, she does not want to help herself. She wanted to go home to continue her bad behavior.

“I have no sympathy for her and they should not continue to enable her. Tammy is ridiculous.”

“So glad to see she is getting the help she so desperately needs,” a third chimed in, as one responded, “You didn’t watch the video. She is checking out and says she can go it on her own. Saddest thing ever.”

DOCTOR’S WARNING

When the series first began, it was revealed that Tammy was tipping the scales at 605lbs as she embarked on a weight loss journey along with her sister Amy, 31.

In one scene, a doctor addressed her and her shocked family members about the fate of her health if she didn’t get her weight under control.

“Tammy, your chances of dying in the next five years are about 80 percent,” the doctor revealed.
