Low-Key Nintendo Switch Update Improves Gaming Experience Significantly

Nintendo has been releasing a series of updates to improve the user experience in their Switch console. In the latest update that was released just a while ago, the patch notes seem to suggest that the console now has a significant change to improve the overall gaming experience. In the previous updates within the past 3 months, Bluetooth audio support, dock update, and an Expansion Pack for NSO were added. Let’s have a look at how Ver 13.2.0 has changed the Switch console.

Nintendo Switch’s latest update improves user experience

The patch note that was released along with the update says, “General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.”

One dataminer has revealed that the ‘nim’ component that is responsible for server connectivity and communications along with the overlay applet has been updated. There might have been certain bug fixes alongside as well.

Previously, Nintendo added native Bluetooth audio support to the switch with the ver 13.0.0 update, which will finally allow players to connect their Bluetooth headsets, earbuds, and headphones to the Switch console. The ver 13.0.0 also brought in the ‘Update Dock’ option, which now lets players update firmware on Switch docks with LAN support, like in the Switch OLED.

Version 11.0.0 had added the Online app to the home screen and let players screenshots from Switch to any other device wirelessly or to a PC through USB.

While we are yet to find out any significant performance change that this latest update has brought in to Nintendo Switch, it is great to see that Nintendo is genuinely taking into consideration the feedback that it is receiving from the gaming community.
