Megan Thee Stallion has canceled her upcoming Houston concert in honor of the Astroworld victims.

Last month, 10 people lost their lives in a crowd surge during festival founder Travis Scott’s performance, with the youngest victim just nine years old.

Almost 200 lawsuits have been filed against the Sicko Mode rapper, and event promoters Live Nation, in the weeks since the ordeal.

Megan was due to hit the stage at Music Hall on December 3 but announced that the performance will no longer be going ahead, as the community is ‘still grieving’ over what happened.

She confirmed the news in a statement obtained by People Magazine, which read: ‘Out of respect for the lives lost in Houston earlier this month, I have decided to cancel my show at 713 Music Hall on Dec 3.

‘Houston is still healing and it’s important that our community be given the appropriate time to grieve.’

Megan, 26, had previously announced her own concert before the tragedy took place, on November 5.

The Grammy-winner also paid tribute to the victims and offered her help and support to those in need.

‘Houston is my hometown. It has a special place in my heart,’ she said in the wake of the incident.

‘I feel terrible. Whatever we can do, I want to help. I want to support. Always. That’s my duty. That’s what I gotta do.

‘And we’re just sending prayers and we’re sending condolences. And we’re sending positive energy to everybody and their family.’

Fans died after being crushed in the crowd at NRG Park, with hundreds more treated for their injuries.

Following the tragedy, Travis shared his heartbreak in a statement on social media, which read: ’I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night.

‘My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival.

‘Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life.

‘I am committed to working together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need.

‘Thank you to Houston PD, fire department and NRG Park for their immediate response and support. Love you all.’

Live Nation added: ‘We are deeply saddened by the heartbreaking loss of life and pain experienced by all those impacted by this tragedy.

‘We are fully cooperating and working closely with police and local authorities as they investigate how this tragedy occurred at the Astroworld Festival.’

Travis partnered with online counseling company BetterHelp to supply online therapy and vowed to cover funeral costs for those who died, but the family of the youngest victim, Ezra Blount, nine, reportedly ‘declined’ the offer.
