Video: Internet Troll and ‘Security Expert’ Dale Brown Has a Special Message for UFC Fighters and Fans

A professional fighter goes through rigorous training and hard work to attain their fighting skills and techniques. A fighter will give their blood, sweat, and tears just to step in the octagon. The journey ahead from a nobody to a champion is a near-impossible feat of its own.

Inside the octagon, fighters have to follow a set of rules that are there for their safety. However, what would happen if these pro fighters have to confront someone in the streets where there are no rules, no regulations.
Earlier the three-time UFC champion Georges St-Pierre had stated that UFC success doesn’t translate to street fighting. He claimed UFC fighters are not invincible.
Consequently, Safety Manager Dale Brown, who owns Detroit’s Threat Management Center, explains why UFC success Doesn’t Translate To Street Fighting. Brown has spent his career training people on how to survive violence.
After giving the B. J. Penn’s Hawaii street brawl as an example he said, “In these situations, we can increase the probability by understanding the difference between survival and sport and remember that what matters in survival is your will and that will is more important than your skill, so this is what will keep you alive and increase your survivability”
In multiple instances, Jay Dee “B.J.” Penn was seen trying to diffuse the situation. But the attacker hit him repeatedly and knocked Penn to the ground.

What is Dale Brown’s Detroit Threat Management Center?

DTMC is a private corporation that specializes in non-violent methods of managing threats. Detroit Threat Management Center provides education and facilitation services for individuals, corporations, communities, civilians, and police.

They claim that their tactics and strategies will enable participants to deter violence through body language projection, de-escalation, and positive inspirational communication.

Participants will learn how to properly read body language in order to distinguish actual threats from false threats. This enables participants to preemptively detect violent intentions of people prior to an aggressor’s actions.
