WATCH: Footage of Washington Fan Shoving Seattle Seahawks Player During TD Celebration Goes Viral

Seattle Seahawks had a rough visit to FedEx Field for their week 12 matchup against the Washington Football Team. Not only did they lose the match, but they were denied by the fans as well. Seattle wanted to go seven in a row, but WFT shoved their hopes, just like they did to tight end, Gerald Everett.

The atmosphere in the stadium was hot and hostile for the Seahawks. The energy of the crowd was electric. A week before the match, Seattle was very vocal about winning the next seven games in a row and going into the playoffs.

WFT and their fans wanted nothing more than to destroy the Seahawks’ dreams. And that they did, Washington defeated the Seahawks with just 2 points. It was not the most amazing game of the week, but it was an important win for the Washington Football Team.

During the first quarter, WFT put 3 points on the board after kicking a field goal around the 3-minute mark. Seattle took control not long after. With just under a minute left on the clock, the Seahawks scored a touchdown. The birthday boy, Russell Wilson, passed the ball to tight end Gerald Everett. Everett was inside the end zone and it was a touchdown. 6 points for Seattle.

The tight end was excited to finally get a touchdown after the one he scored back in week 1. Everett was so in the moment that he ran towards the stands to celebrate. But he forgot that he’s not in Seattle. Just as Everett tried to hop over the barricade, a Washington fan pushed him down.

The fan was wearing a Jamin Davis jersey. Davis is a rookie first-round linebacker for the Washington Football Team. Maybe the fan got really inspired by his favorite player and decided to defend the stands himself from Everett.

Washington football team’s head coach Ron Rivera complimented the fan who shoved Gerald Everett. “I did like his hand placement, nice and tight on the inside,” said the coach. “Just a little shove to keep him protecting his part of the stadium.” Maybe Rivera will scout the fan and we might see him play with Jamin Davis in an alternative reality.
