WATCH: Tiger Woods Makes a Cheeky Remark About His $54M Jupiter Island Mansion
On Tuesday, the golf world got what it was waiting for – an exclusive press conference from Tiger Woods. The 45-year-old has been sidelined from the sport ever since his single-car crash in February 2021. However, the Big Cat is recovering at a steady pace now and unraveled a lot of information in his recent press conference.
Tiger Woods talks about a new perspective that he gained while injured
Woods revealed that the doctors were seriously considering amputation as an option owing to the injuries he sustained from the car crash. His right leg was severely damaged, but the 45-year-old is grateful to have skipped past prosthetics and to still feel and have the limb.
Tiger Woods was using crutches for a major part of his recovery process, and that enabled him to gain a whole new perspective about his luxurious Jupiter Island mansion. Woods has been living in the mega-mansion since 2010, but he admitted to having felt very different about it when walking around with crutches.
Woods was addressing the media about how forming small goals was instrumental in helping his recovery. That’s when he informed that using crutches around his house felt very different.
“I built a really nice house but I didn’t realize how big it was until you started putting crutches on,” Woods told the media with a cheeky grin on his face.
Woods has built a magnificent house on Jupiter Island that is worth around $54M. It has a gym, several suite rooms, a theatre, and whatnot! Read more about it here!

Woods sends a message to his loyal fanbase
Of course, Tiger Woods will return to the PGA Tour at one point or another. However, the party will not be the same as it once was. Woods has surpassed enough hurdles in his life and has sacrificed a lot for his career. This time, tough decisions have to be made.
Woods understands that his physical fitness will never return to the state it once was. He’s accepted the fact and wants to make use of the most he’s got. For the fans that think he can still come back and win a major championship, Woods just has one message:
“It’s awfully flattering that people think that highly of my game. I think I’ve I’ve proven that I can play this game at a high level for a long period of time. And it’s often flattering that they think that I can come back from this and win tournaments, and as you said, win major championships,” Woods mentioned.

But with that being said, Woods proceeded to break out the sorrowful news that it might be a monumental task to come out and get his hands on a major championship again. The Big Cat does not count it impossible, but in reality, it is a thought that is far-fetched.
