Have we found 80s Carol Vorderman’s celebrity double in Lady Gaga?
The presenter revealed a friend of hers was seeing double after spotting Gaga’s latest Vogue cover, and suggested she shared a striking resemblence to Carol from back in the day.
Sadly not totally sold on the likeness, the former Countdown star commented with ‘I wish’ after make-up artist Alexis Day noticed the similarity on Tuesday.
In her Instagram Stories, Day posted a snap of Gaga’s cover shoot to celebrate the release of the pop star’s latest movie House of Gucci.
Day then posted the magazine cover next to a throwback picture of Vorderman, 60, in the 80s and wrote: ‘Twins. TWINS. The OG #Vorders.’
‘@carolvorders wins it for me tbh’ she declared.
‘On First glance I swear I thought this was the legend @carolvorders. But apparently its Lady Gaga, who may be channelling some classic 80s vorders. [sic]’

She continued: ‘British Vogue I really think you need #CarolVorderman on the cover instead of Madge.
‘Either way am here for it,’ she added, offering to do Vorderman’s make up for the cover shoot.

Only last month, Vorderman shared a big update with her fans on Instagram when she celebrated her youngest son’s big achievement.
Cameron, 24, graduated from the University of Dundee after earning his Master’s degree in animation and video effects.

Celebrating his achievement, after he battled ‘severe’ special educational needs, she said: ‘We never dared to dream this day might come when he graduated with a first-class honours last year and now a Masters degree in Animation and VFX.
‘Thank you Dundee for giving him all that you have over the last year. Amazing.’
