Mixers worldwide were heartbroken to hear Little Mix will be taking a break after 10 years together.
The group, consisting of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, and Jade Thirlwall, uploaded a sweet video montage on social media and thanked fans for their support over the last decade before they announced they will be going their separate ways.
The break comes a year after Jesy Nelson made her exit from the chart-topping band.
Fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts over the sudden news, but thanked the girls for making history within the music industry.
One distraught fan wrote: ‘ The end of an era, the last surviving group to come out of X Factor, thank you little mix queens.’
Another commented: ‘We have very few girl bands rocking the world. Pls come back soon.’
The golden trio made it clear to fans that they’re not ‘splitting up.’
The official statement read: ‘It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.
‘We’re sisters and we’ll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever ♥️ See you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie x.’

Little Mix first formed on X Factor in 2011, with Leigh-Anne, Jade, Perrie, and Jesy initially auditioning as solo artists.
They were put together as a four-piece and eventually became the first group to win the show, alongside mentor Tulisa.
After wowing the judges week after week, the four-piece made history and became the first band to win the hit ITV talent series.
