Master Chief? More like Master Chef! Following the release of its multiplayer on November 15, Halo has also released a brand of its own beverages.

The items in question are quite hilarious and something the community has considered a meme since the early days of the franchise.

Halo Infinite and its new tea

Almost every gamer is familiar with the term ‘teabagging’. For the uninitiated, when a player conquers another, the winner goes up to the virtual avatar of the player and performs a controversial act.

The terms derives its name from the act of using a teabag.

There are 3 flavors of the tea that can be purchased from the Halo teabag website: including one called Pine Needler. All of them are tinted with the respective color associated with their flavor. However, they boast the same silhouette on the packaging: a soldier squatting with what appears to be a teabag attached to him.

The act of teabagging is not alien to the Halo franchise.  In fact, it is so popular that all three available flavors have been sold out. Players and fans can, however, put their names in an e-mail list.

This will allow them to be notified when future units come in stock.

The description of the teabags is as follows: “The flood is coming. A zesty, aromatic onslaught of effervescent flavor, that will leave all sentient life refreshed in its wake. So, park your Warthog somewhere leafy, lay your Energy Sword down in the grass and tea bag to your heart’s desire.”

Each flavor is priced at $30. The rate at which this product was sold stands as a testament to the popularity of the franchise. Halo and its developer 343 Industries seem to be having quite a lot of healthy interaction with the community.

Moreover, the outrage caused by the poorly rendered brute, “Craig” was taken in stride. In fact, the developers were so humble that they added a Craig Easter egg in the game.
