Notably, the tournament is trying to include a few big names likes Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, and others. However, Phil hasn’t decided about his schedule for the 2021-22 PGA Tour season yet. Not to mention, the event is scheduled just a week after the Saudi International, where Phil has committed to play. Regardless, the organizers are confident and are doing everything possible to get the best field for the event.

“We feel that it’s going to be one of our best fields ever,” said the tournament chairman, Michael Golding. Moreover, since the company is changing its name to WM, the tournament will also be known as WM Phoenix Open.
