Selling Sunset season 4 arrived on Netflix last month but one storyline that was missing from the drama was Chrishell Stause’s romance with Jason Oppenheim.

The pair made their relationship public earlier this year after sharing loved-up snaps on Instagram, however, this was left out in the latest chapter of the real-estate reality show.

Fans, however, have since been promised that Chrishell and Jason’s romance will feature in the forthcoming fifth series.

Here’s everything you need to know on why their romance wasn’t in season four of Selling Sunset.

Why didn’t Chrishell and Jason go public with their romance in Selling Sunset season 4?

There’s a very simple explanation as to why Jason and Chrishell’s romance isn’t touched upon in Selling Sunset season four and it’s because they didn’t confirm their romance until the series had wrapped.

The show’s dramatic finale gave the first hint of the new pairing after Heather Rae Young asked Chrishell if she was dating anyone.

Just a few days later, the star posted flowers she’d been sent – which she later confirmed were from Jason soon after.

Mary Fitzgerald told Metro.co.uk that viewers will have to wait until season five for a glimpse at their budding relationship.

‘Well, you’re definitely going to see a relationship divide, that you wouldn’t expect and things that have happened where it’s just shocking,’ she told us.

‘Without giving away too much, it’s hard to, it’s hard to say to explain it but it’s gonna be pretty shocking to see some of the things that have happened.

‘I think Jason and Chrishell came out with their relationship in between season four and five.

‘So, you won’t see that on season four, but you will in season five.’

Mary also gave us reassurance that the pair are getting along just fine.

‘They’re doing amazing,’ she said. ‘They are the amazing couple, they are just so well suited for each other and they make each other so happy and I’m so excited to see where that goes!’

Selling Sunset is available to stream on Netflix.
