WWE legend Goldberg looks unrecognisable with full head of hair and clean-shaven look in epic throwback

Goldberg is one of the most identifiable stars in wrestling history – but it wasn’t always that way.

The WWE Hall of Famer is known nowadays for his signature bald head and goatee, but he’s given fans a trip down memory lane with a series of throwback snaps from his time playing for Georgia Football.

Although the post was meant to be on the team’s upcoming SEC Championship game, the former world champion knew what he was doing as he included ‘#goldbergwithhair’ in the hashtags.

He captioned the snaps: ‘Huge weekend coming up for @ugaathletics @georgiafootball !!!!

‘#letsgo #dawgs #secchampionship #sec #nationalchampionship #spear #goldbergwithhair #babyface #jackhammer #whosnext #football @goldbergsgarage To say we owe them is an understatement!!!! @dodgeofficial @wwe (sic)’

Honestly, we can’t get past the hair.

Goldberg’s most recent in-ring appearance for WWE came last month when he beat Bobby Lashley in a stiff grudge match at Crown Jewel.

There was another interesting exchange from the Saudi Arabia trip, though, as Riddle revealed his and Goldberg’s relationship has thawed and we could be edging closer to a match between the real-life rivals.

Riddle exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘We flapped some gums on the plane ride to Saudi. I actually hit him with my flip flop in Saudi when we rehearsed my entrance, and he got a little heated. But we talked on the plane, I think we’re OK.’

Riddle even suggested Goldberg reacted better than you’d expect when he got hit with the footwear.

‘Better than I thought! Better than most people I hit in the crowd with them. Still Goldberg,’ he said. ‘I think there’s a possibility that that Goldberg match happens. I think we gained a little respect for each other on that trip.

‘I learned a little bit more about Goldberg, I think he learned a little bit more about me and how our histories and paths have crossed a couple of times.’
